OVERVIEW
The FH125 series has been designed primarily for large-scale agricultural surveys. The aircraft is extremely rugged and is designed for sustained remote operations. Transportable in two small crates, the 7-section airframe can be field-assembled in under 15 minutes. The hybrid propulsion system enables sustained sorties of 10+ hours with a sensor payload of up to 35 lb. The aircraft is rugged and versatile for multi-mission application where various payloads can be quickly installed and auto-compensated without the need for operator adjustments. The airframe is of carbon fiber construction. Four electrically powered propellers are used in vertical take-off and landing while an internal combustion gas powered engine provides forward motion, recharges batteries, and provides ample current for onboard sensors, avionics, and communication systems.
