JOB DESCRIPTION

Meadowlark Aircraft’s (www.meadowlarkaircraft.com) Design Configuration Group is seeking a talented electrical/electronics engineer to join our team. In this role, you will design, model, test, and analyze subsystem and component signal communication paths to ensure robust performance against crosstalk noise, bandwidth limits, fan-out/load stress, and impedance mismatch. You will work at PCB level as well as transmission lines throughout the aircraft. Furthermore, you will implement state-of-the-art signal integrity solutions that are robust to evolving anti-drone countermeasures.

 

Located in Grand Forks, ND, the epicenter of the drone industry, Meadowlark designs, manufactures, and markets customizable (bespoke) unmanned aerial systems. We focus on long-endurance mid-size vertical-take-off-and-landing solutions and provide a comprehensive array of products and services that span the entire aircraft production and maintenance lifecycle. The ideal candidate

↦ has – or anticipates receiving in the Spring of 2025 – a bachelor’s degree in electrical and computer engineering, physics, or applied mathematics

↦ has demonstrated proficiency in theoretical and practical aspects of transmission medium EM wave propagation, RF to microwave

↦ has excellent technical comprehension and communication skills

↦ can work closely with Meadowlark’s systems engineering and manufacturing teams

↦ can interact well with external subsystems and components vendors

↦ is comfortable in a fast-paced entrepreneurial work environment

 

The candidate must be a US Citizen and must successfully pass a background check as well as drug testing for prohibited substances as defined by the Federal regulations. The candidate must be willing to locate in Grand Forks. Your resume or cover letter should clearly reflect those requirements before it is considered.
